The system in which elements of do not follows superimposition principal & if we draw a curve b/w two quantaties for this system will be non-linear i.e not a straight line.
There are two types of system considered in a non-linear control system:-
Analog system:- In this system analog signals are produced & the signals are continuous with respect to time or we can say that there are continuous time signal
Digital system:-In this system digital signal are produced & these signals are non-continuos with respest to time or we can say that these are discrete time signals
In study we often study digital system
To study this system we have 2 techniques:-
1.Convential Tranfer Function Approch
2.State Variable Approach
1.Convential Tranfer Function Approch:-In this approach we dont consider the initial conditions of the system
2.State Variable Approach:-In this approach we always consider the intial conditions of the system.
Mostly we use state variable approach is more accurate&precise.
I will discuss about State Variable Approach in my next blog.
